Ski Slalom is a free, motion-controlled downhill skiing game you play with nothing but a webcam. The course is a real winding mountain descent — the piste curves and rolls through pine forest, and you steer the way a skier does: lean your body and the skis carve where you point them, gently for a long arc, hard for a tight cut. The tuck is fully analog too: fold forward like a downhill racer or sink into a squat — the deeper your tuck, the faster you fly — and stand tall to scrub speed before a tight door.
Pick a 400, 800 or 1500-metre course and race the clock to the bottom: every clean gate builds a streak bonus, running wide bogs you down in powder, and the trees just off the piste will put you in the snow. Or open a race room, share the code, and up to eight friends drop the same mountain at once.
How Ski Slalom works
Your webcam reads your body in real time using on-device pose tracking — nothing is uploaded, and the camera feed never leaves your browser. Steering is fully analog: tilt your shoulders and the skis carve where you point them, a gentle lean for a long arc, a hard lean for a tight cut through a door. The throttle is your posture — fold your torso forward like a downhill racer or sink into a squat, and the deeper the tuck, the faster you accelerate; stand up to brake. Tucking stiffens your steering, exactly like the real thing, so commit to a line before you drop.
The mountain fights back: carving across the fall line scrubs speed, running wide off the groomed piste bogs you down in deep powder, and the pines just past the edge markers will put you in the snow. Kickers are the wildcard — roll over one for a hop, or jump right at the lip for a big-air bonus. Clean gates chain into a streak that multiplies your points.
Leg day disguised as a ski trip
The speed tuck is a genuine squat hold, so the fastest way down the mountain is also the biggest quad burn — broken up by jumps and the constant side-to-side work of carving. A live calorie counter turns your weight and movement into a running estimate of the energy you burn, so chasing a course record doubles as a leg and cardio workout.
Courses are short by design — roughly one to four minutes of skiing — which makes it easy to fit a few full-effort runs into a break.
Race up to 8 friends down the same mountain
Open a race room, share the code, and everyone drops the identical seeded course at the same moment — same gates, same trees, same ramps. Ghost skiers show exactly where your friends are on the slope as you carve, and the first one across the finish banner wins. No console, no install.
Free to play in your browser — no download, no equipment
Ski Slalom runs entirely in the browser on a laptop or desktop with a webcam. There is nothing to download, no account required to start, and no equipment beyond the space to squat and lean. It works on any modern browser and is completely free to play.
